Blake was pretty excited about his first ever homework assignment. He spent hours figuring out all the details of what he wanted in his house (somewhat resembling ours). He thought of everything from furniture in each room to a sand castle outside. We had the best time working on the project together. I think I'm really going to like having school aged children.

Three things I'm still laughing at: the proportion of the "a" he made in relation to the other letters, the picture in the middle (it's either two people on the potty or a fire in the fireplace), and the definite outlines of the t.v. and computer (did Troy think of that?).
ReplyDeleteThe middle is actually the kitchen. A stove with four burners, an oven below, and a refrigerator with handles. I guess I need to work on my cutting skills. Blake did paint the burners with pipe cleaners though.
