There's something about evenings at Lake Michigan. The sun doesn't set until after 9pm in August and we all love those long summer nights.
They are filled with walks to the beach.
Play structures.
Sand angels.
Re-bandaging toe injuries that are covered in sand.
Did I mention sand?
Always some tears.
Yard games.
Street games.
Horse-drawn wagon rides around the neighborhood.
Backyard bonfires.
Walks on the pier.
Brother trains.
Watching boats pass through the channel.
Flowers for mom.
Circling the lighthouse.
Photo op attempts.
And lots of dreamy sunsets.
