Having a backyard with enough room for a trampoline has been the greatest gift. When we were renting our townhouse, the boys got out their post dinner energy by running in circles around the kitchen island every night. Now, we just send them outside and they bounce and wrestle their hearts away.
There are always neighbor kids in our backyard and they make up all sorts of games. One of their favorite games is for one kid to stand on the grass and throw a ball in and the rest of them try to dive and catch it.
It might not be the prettiest thing to look at from the kitchen, but it provides endless entertainment and is the go to whenever we have company.
